Here was Deng Linlin's routine in 2010 Wild Rose FX EF, where she competed the Memmel turn and 3/2 to front 1/1 pass.
I can still remember Blythe's 2010 Wild Rose analysis, and her observation on Chinese female gymnasts' traditional 3-year competition career and that this new generation might have finally broken the pattern.
China is not a team renowned for the longevity of its gymnasts. Female Chinese gymnasts seem to have three years of good results -- a year of ascent, a peak year and a year where they look less good than they did in previous years but are still being sent to international competitions, where they nonetheless do fairly well. Cheng Fei is the notable exception.
