Best Wishes to Mustafina for a Speedy Recovery

Rewriting Russian Gymnastics reported the sad news that Mustafina torn her ligament in her left knee. Aliya will undergo an operation in Munich on Apr. 12th. Her coach confirmed that she will be out for 2011 Worlds.

2011 Eastern China Gymnatics Co-Op Meet Results

The Eastern China Gymnatics Co-Op Meet is an annul regional gymnastics meet for 7 provisional teams from eastern China- Shanghai, Shandong, Zhejiang, Jiangsu, Anhui, Fujian, Jiangxi. The term co-op is used as the host rotates through each participating provisional team in turn. This year the meet is held in Jinan, Shandong. Here are the top scores from the AA and EFs:

Xiao Kanjun had a fantastic meet, and she was the AA Champ from last year. And according to the rule, gymnast will keep the cup if winning title two years in a row. Big kudos to Xiao!

2011 Kunshan Chinese Gymnastics Championship Schedule

Huang Qiushuang Fractured Her Hand

Zhang Jie, the CCTV gymnatics sport reporter, mentioned in her WeiBo that Qiushuang fractured her hand ( metacarpal fracture) yesterday during a training session. Sigh:(. Doctor said that a full recovery will take about 50 days. We wont see her in next weekend's Glasgow World Cup.

Hope she get better soon ~~~

2011 Glasgow World Cup Drawing Lots & the Euros


The FullTwist reported that the drawing lots for the Glasgow World Cup (Apr. 14th-17th) has been done today, and JYY and Q(gymtruthteller started the name, and it suits her well) will be there.
